Whispering Hill Mount Barker Shiraz

Capel Vale Whispering Hill Mount Barker Shiraz is made only in years when varietal fruit flavour is exceptional. It is grown in the Whispering Hill Vineyard's laterite and granite sandy soils in Mount Barker.

The fruit is open fermented in controlled conditions with a selected Shiraz yeast. Two weeks after fermentation, the wine is pressed to French oak barrels to develop layers of interest over 12 months. It is egg white fined and minimally filtered prior to bottling.

Deep red, Capel Vale Whispering Hill Mount Barker Shiraz has fleshy berry flavours and typical Mount Barker spice. It finishes long and soft. Cellaring potential is eight years.
